Initial clinical situation

For teeth 11 and 12 full crown preparations are planned.  

Interproximal separation

Fissure bur short D16   

Axial and incisal ( or occlusal ) reduction

Round-ended tapered bur 235, 237 or 240  
 
 

Interproximal axial reduction

Round-ended tapered bur D6 or 235   
 
 

Palatal reduction

Pear-shaped bur 255 

Gingival deflection 

Finishing

Conical fine grain bur D8GS or D7GS 
 
 

Finishing or cervical chamfer

Bur 274GS
